Dermatological Symptoms in Chronic Cases of Neurocutaneous Syndrome (NCS) or Morgellons

Dermatological Symptoms in Chronic Cases of Neurocutaneous Syndrome (NCS) or Morgellons

The terms Morgellons and Neuro-cutaneous Syndrome (NCS) are used interchangeably, yet cautiously, as their symptoms are very similar. At the Parasitology Center, Inc. (PCI), we have been researching NCS since 1996. Our early reports on this syndrome included the description of a case with many facial opportunistic infections from Oklahoma and the first naming and diagnosis of NCS from 3 more cases, with a special reference to fibers and springtails (Collembola). By 2003, we were able to provide a comprehensive diagnosis of NCS and establish the link to dental toxins as the causative agents. We clarified the nature of action of dental liners (bases) in the causation of NCS neurological and dermatological symptoms. Various versions of this landmark publication were subsequently published elsewhere. We established a causal relationship with dental toxins, as well as with other less frequent toxic exposures, developed a protocol, and successfully treated patients.

Through our research we reported on eight cases of chronic Neurocutaneous Syndrome (NCS) exhibiting extreme dermatological symptoms. Dermatological symptoms are usually preceded by intermediate neurological stages of crawling and pin pricking sensations. We have developed a protocol that successfully resolves the symptoms of NCS. “Delusional parasitosis” and Morgellons disease cases should be assigned to NCS and treated as such.

The literature on delusional parasitosis dismisses “delusional patients” as psychiatric cases with imaginary external and internal symptoms that feel like parasite movements. We have researched over 1000 “delusional” patients since 1996 at PCI. We have concluded that the internal sensations of crawling and pin-pricking, often confused with parasite movement, are actually caused by toxicity from exposure to toxic chemicals including but not limited to dental materials that interfere with the propagation of normal nerve impulse.

We also have evidence that external parasites/organisms including springtails (Collembola),other arthropods, bacteria, and fungi represent only opportunistic infections of skin sites compromised by toxins. The elimination of toxins from the skin will cause breaks that will allow the establishment of external infections. We have described a new pathological disorder that we called Neuro-cutaneous Syndrome because of the neurological and the dermatological symptoms that characterize it.

This epidemic-in-disguise has been routinely misdiagnosed by medical professionals who often label patients as delusional because of their description of their neurological symptoms (actually caused by nerve damage) as having been caused
by parasite infections. We have specifically addressed this issue while discussing the clinical history of 24 NCS patients.

Introducing our NCS Protocol

Product Description

If you have not read the background information on NCS, seen the videos, or read the articles or testimonials please do so first on our Morgellon’s page. This will familiarize yourself with the disease and help you determine if your symptoms may be caused by NCS. There is no test to determine if you have NCS so it’s diagnosis is symptom based. Fill out our NCS Questionnaire to get a better assesment of the likelihood of you having the disease.

Due to an overwhelming demand from patients with symptoms of Morgellon’s Disease (NCS), we have developed a web based, self help program for recovery from NCS to make help more readily available to a larger population. The NCS Protocol is a step by step detailed guide including all neccesary resources to realize a complete recovery. By following the 6 step protocol you will join over a thousand others who have fully recovered from this devastating disease. Please feel free to read the Patient testimonials from our patients who have recovered from the disease.

  • Verification that you are an NCS case. This can be done by answering the questionnaire. Grade yourself on a scale of 1-3. (1; mild, 2; moderate; and 3; severe symptoms) If you have scored moderate or severe in the categories of movement, crawling, or pin-prick sensations, you are probably a genuine case of NCS. If you have scored moderate or severe in other neurological, skin, organ system, or general categories, this will represent added confirmation of your NCS status.
  • Log in as a new patient.
  • Review the informed consent form. By proceeding to step #4 and purchasing the NCS Protocol, you have acknowledged that you have read and agreed to the consent form.
  • Purchase “NCS Protocol*” This protocol has been designed after 14 years of research. We have found a causal relationship to the disease and have helped hundreds of patients recover. 10 papers have been published by Dr. Amin re: NCS in scientific journals reviewed by a group of peers and approved by reputable sources. If you have any questions before purchasing please email [email protected], or call the lab. We will be happy to assist you.

The NCS Protocol includes a digital document that is emailed to you upon purchase. It is a step by step informational document that, if followed, will eradicate Morgellons disease (NCS). It includes your first month of treatment which includes a topical and internal detoxifier that will help dry up any sores if present. Also included are liquid detox products. There are 4 products in all included in the treatment program. Also recommended in the protocol are vitamins that support detoxification (most can be purchased in a good multi vitamin). Another step in the protocol is to do a specialized blood test which tests your blood against every chemical that is used in any dental procedure and determines if you are “highly reactive, moderately reactive, or least reactive to that chemical. It is done by an outside lab and the fees are paid directly to them. You must be off of antibiotics for 30 days before doing the blood draw. This is the most important step as it will determine the source of your NCS. If your source of NCS is not dental we have another “unknown toxins” or “hair analysis” test that we can have run for you. There is also reference to lymphatic massage which will help your detoxification process by breaking down the toxins into smaller molecules that are more easily emitted. A dental records request form is also included. This form is designed to easily identify what materials were used in your mouth and cross reference them with the results of the blood test referenced above. Also Included in the recovery program, upon request, is a support group who has recovered from NCS who have volunteered to help other victims of NCS and to shed light on the recovery process and the realization that this is a situation that can be resolved.

Choice #1: ONLINE PROTOCOL: $390 would be the total cost for the protocol which includes one month of treatment. You will need to do a specialized blood test ($325), which is outsourced to another company. You will be paying them, and will have to go to a local laboratory to get a blood draw. Most people will need to be on the treatment for more than one month. The products that are recommended in this protocol come out to $255 for a 2 month supply.

Follow up can be arranged with PCI after purchasing the protocol. If your dentist or practitioner is not familiar with the blood test report, or you are unable to decipher which chemical(s) is the source of your toxicity, if supplied with the proper dental records, we will interpret these test results to detect and confirm the source. There is a flat fee of $100 for this service (if there are extraordinary amounts of dental records or paperwork that fee could be higher). Please Contact us to request this service.

Please see our policies for information on refunds and specimen collection, inadaquete samples, insurance reimbursement, etc…

*Patent 13367629 pending. Any disclosure or redistribution of material in the protocol without written consent of PCI is illegal.

Morgellons Disease Pictures and Story

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced today that it is launching a study to learn about an unexplained condition that causes people to feel as if they have foreign substances growing from their bodies.

People with the condition, referred to as Morgellons disease, say they have fibers and other inorganic material growing out of their skin.

“We earnestly want to learn more about this unexplained illness, which affects the lives of those who suffer from it,” said Dr. Michele Pearson, principal investigator leading the study for the CDC, in a press release. “Those who suffer have questions, and we want to help them.”

“We have a team of epidemiologists, laboratorians and pathologists to carry out the study,” Pearson said.

The study will be conducted in conjunction with Kaiser Permanente’s Northern California Division of Research.

In 2006, a number of Morgellons sufferers told ABC News in interviews that when they consulted doctors, they received diagnoses they called wrong or dismissive. Brandi Koch, the wife of former Major League Baseball player Billy Koch, said that she felt as if she were living in a horror movie, claiming she had colored fibers coming out of her skin.

Koch, of Clearwater Beach, Fla., said that her life was good until one day in the shower when she noticed something strange — tiny fibers running through her skin.Morgellons Fibers

“The fibers look like hair, and they’re different colors,” Koch said.

Koch said she knows that what she experienced “sounds crazy,” but it’s true. “If I had a family member call me up and say, ‘I have this stuff,’ I’d say, ‘I’m sending a straitjacket over. You need some help,’” she said.

Anne Dill described a similar condition. Looking at Dill’s life in Florida, she seemed to be living the American dream — her three daughters excelled in sports and were straight-A students.

But life in the Dill household was far from idyllic. Anne’s 40-year-old husband, Tom, died in January 2006, and she believes his death was due to a contagious illness that has infected her entire family.

Dill described her family’s skin: “There’s this fibrous material. It’s in layers.” Dill said the skin on their hands was particularly bad, very swollen and itchy, and said it felt as if bugs were crawling underneath the skin. Continue Reading on TimeSocket

How to Get Support for Morgellons Disease

By an eHow Contributor

Patients with Morgellons disease suffer from skin lesions, unexplained fibers protruding from their skin, memory loss and crippling fatigue. However, more troubling than these symptoms is the lack of support and resources for Morgellons patients. Doctors described Morgellons disease more than 300 years ago, but the medical community hasn’t formally recognized or legitimized this disorder. This disregard makes the support of loved ones essential for Morgellons patients.

  • Communicate with other Morgellons patients. Although most cases of the disease occur in Florida, Texas and California, Morgellons patients exist worldwide. Use online medical discussion boards like the one maintained by Morgellons Disease Research to connect with others coping with the same disease.
  • Find a doctor who believes that Morgellons disease is a legitimate condition. Although widely discounted in the medical community, a core group of health professionals believes Morgellons is a real disease.
  • Read about Morgellons disease in scholarly medical journals. Peer-reviewed journals concentrate the research of many doctors to advance the medical community’s knowledge about this disorder.
  • Consider the possibility of other health conditions that produce similar symptoms. Although Morgellons patients often attribute all of their symptoms to Morgellons, sometimes other treatable conditions like anxiety or depression coexist with the disorder.
  • Seek professional support from a therapist or counselor. Managing a debilitating disease places stress on everyone, including caregivers. If you feel that you need more support than loved ones can provide, meet with a licensed professional trained to help patients with health problems.
  • Participate in activities you enjoy. Maintaining your interests can give you hope and a sense of purpose, so that Morgellons disease doesn’t define your life.

Detailed Information on Morgellons Syndrome

Detailed Information on Morgellons Syndromes

Morgellons syndrome, also known as delusional parasitosis. At the present moment Morgellons disease is a very divisive skin disorder. Morgellons is an unusual parasite-like skin disease, which produces irritating sores all over the body. Symptoms linked with Morgellons comprise sensations of itching, crawling, biting, stinging, pricking and burning, believed by sufferers to be caused by an infection or infestation of some sort. People suffering from this condition report a range of symptoms including crawling, biting and stinging sensations as if they had insects on and under their skin. Skin lesions (rashes or sores) appear all over the body.

Fibers of different colors blue, red, green, etc. threads are found protruding out of the skin. Some sufferers of this skin disorder or illness see it as like to scabies. A cause of Morgellons Syndrome is associated to Lyme’s Disease. Others consider that Morgellons is the result of nano machines accidentally or purposefully released into the environment. A nano machine is a man-made molecular machine comprised of a few atoms or chains of atoms use to do work at the atomic level in manfacturing process. In the biological field, nano machines work at the celular level inside of body cells. Another possible cause of Morgellons is Chemtrails.

Fibers likely to those described by Morgelllons patients seem to be found in jet plane exhausts – those white lines in the sky caused by the passage of airplanes. Chemtrails appear to be particularly heavy releases from planes containing fibers. There is strong anecdotal evidence linking these Chemtrail aerosol fibers to Morgellons fibers. It is possible that the cause for Morgellons is thus some type of chemical poisoning caused by airplanes. Many dermatologists treat Morgellons as delusional parasitosis. Treatment of Morgellons syndrome is recommending the use of antibiotics, antiparasitic medications, herbal supplements, and light therapy.

Atypical antipsychotics such as olanzapine or risperidone are employed as first line treatment. Antipsychotics are useful at treating delusional parasitosis at doses as low as one-fifth to one-tenth the dose typically prescribed for schizophrenia. The antibiotic treatment is not curative, because when it is discontinued, the symptoms return Persons with Morgellons symptoms may turn to alternative remedies described on web sites and discussion groups. Some treatments are dangerous, however, and have included the use of bleach, veterinary medicines intended for de-worming horses, and industrial insecticides.

Three Diseases We Don’t Know About: Morgellons, Lyme and Celiac Disease

By: Sythix.com

Celiac Disease

morgellons-unknownCeliac disease mainly affects the ability of small intestine to absorb nutrients from food. People suffering from celiac disease are unable to digest a protein known as gluten. Celiac disease also called gluten sensitive enteropathy is a malfunctioning of assimilation program of the entire body, causing diet related issues. Celiac disease can be a digestive system disease which usually issues small digestive tract as well as decelerates your consumption associated with vitamins we via meals. Celiac illness is another intestinal disorder (even though more rare) that is brought on by the intolerance associated with some animals to gluten, a protein that is in barley, oats, rye and wheat. Lack of nutrition often accompanies this condition because of the greatly reduced absorption of nutrients. Celiac illness is a medical condition that causes wherewithal to absorb gluten found in barley, wheat, oats and rye.

Morgellons Syndrome

Morgellons syndrome, also called delusional parasitosis. Morgellons syndrome has been linked to chemtrails, the actual wispy clouds remaining by high-flying airplanes. Morgellons Research Basis is based in Pittsburgh. Morgellons sufferers have a tendency to suffer consistently through rashes and sores and these symptoms don’t respond to over-the-counter skin-related aids. Morgellons sufferers loose their own lives to this disease; MD’s and Dermatologist dismiss the signs and symptoms as Delusions associated with Parasitosis (DOP), a part of schizophrenia. Morgellons disease is a serious and apparent skin disease which has many people struggling. Morgellons Disease presents a wide range of symptoms, generating it very difficult to document this condition.

Lyme Disease

Lyme disease is generally suspected in an individual who has been exposed, includes a tick chew, and has joint pain. In cases where it is not clear when the patient has been exposed, the doctor will need to eliminate other potential causes for that symptoms. Lyme illness can happen in serious or repeating form. Lyme Disease: If you have fully recovered through Lyme disease you may register to become a potential volunteer donor. Lyme illness also called Lyme borreliosis, is definitely an infection that derives from the tick bite. Lyme Disease ( not really Lyme’s Disease ) is actually caused by a spirochete known as Borrelia . Lyme disease was initially described in 1975. Lyme illness is an infection caused by a bacteria normally present in deer and sent to people by deer ticks.

‘Morgellons Disease’ Is Creepy. But Is It Real? The Answer is Yes!

One thing everyone can agree on is that those who claim to have Morgellons disease are suffering. The question is: From what?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced plans last week to learn more about Morgellons through a study with health care provider Kaiser Permanente in California, an area where many Morgellons sufferers are clustered.

“Our position is to be, quite frankly, open minded and objective. We’re approaching this as we would approach any other investigation of an unknown or unexplained condition,” said Dr. Michele Pearson, lead investigator of the CDC study. “We want to take a scientifically rigorous approach to try and figure this out.”

After finding no satisfactory diagnosis for strange lesions on her son’s face, Mary Leitao discovered strange fibers in the lesions. Dismissed by doctors, she found references to a disease called Morgellons in the 16th and 17th centuries that counted “harsh hairs” among its symptoms. She started a Web site seeking fellow sufferers, and to date more than 11,000 families have registered.

That there is so much self-diagnosis of Morgellons contributes to the skeptical attitude most doctors take toward the condition. Sufferers bringing in fibers as physical evidence doesn’t help.

“When you go to medical school, you are trained that if somebody comes into your office … if somebody brings you a Ziploc baggie full of stuff, it’s called the Ziploc baggie sign, and … you’re crazy,” says Washington Post reporter Brigid Schulte, who has been following the Morgellons phenomenon.

Pearson says the CDC study, in addition to addressing the nature of the “unexplained dermopathy,” has other aims.

“One thing we’ve heard quite clearly from people affected with this condition is that they often go see a provider, [and] the provider has never heard of this condition … so one thing we hope to do is raise awareness that this does exist.”

Morgellons is a REAL and serious condition. Years of research in the field of Morgellons has been done, the key is to find a specialist who knows how to treat Morgellons.
